We’re back! Step Up for Mental Health returns in 2022 with the option to choose between a live event or participating virtually.

Register to run/walk 5K or 10K along the beautiful Saskatoon river valley on Sept. 24, OR complete the virtual event wherever you are. See course map here and LIVE event guide here. Need to submit virtual results? Learn how here.

No matter which option you choose, you’ll get our amazing swag package of:

  • Step Up technical shirt
  • Step Up bunnyhug
  • Step Up water bottle
  • Custom medal
(*NOTE: The student registration includes the bunnyhug and medal only)

Please note that registration fees increase the closer we get to September (see below), so register early!

In addition to the best swag around, you’ll experience the fun and supportive Step Up atmosphere brimming with live entertainment.

As always, 100% of your registration fee – plus a matching amount from Cameco – supports the Cameco Fund for Mental Health, administered by the Saskatoon Community Foundation. In just three years, you’ve helped raise more than $1.2 million to assist mental health projects and programs in dozens of Saskatchewan communities.

After two years of pandemic challenges, supporting mental health is more important than ever, so we hope you’ll join us in making a difference. Start your Step Up journey today!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

I’m not comfortable participating in the live event, or I live too far away. Can I still register?
Yes. The 2022 run/walk includes a virtual option so we encourage you to participate in your home community and submit your results according to instructions that will be emailed to all registered participants. Please note that registration is limited to Canada and US participants due to high international shipping costs. *Ontario residents: We are exploring the possibility of hosting an October run/walk in Ontario. All funds raised from Ontario participants will contribute to the existing Cameco Fund for Mental Health in Northumberland County.

Will there be an Ontario run/walk in 2022?
Team members at Cameco’s Ontario operations in Port Hope are exploring the possibility of hosting a run/walk in October. We encourage you to follow Cameco Ontario’s social media channels for the latest updates:
- Cameco Ontario on Facebook
- @cameco_ontario on Instagram
- @camecoontario on Twitter

My child is 5-and-under. Do I have to register them even though their participation is free?
No. Children 5-and-under are welcome to join you on the course and there’s no need to register them. However, if you wish to receive a bunnyhug for them, they must be registered.
